[*Approximately 3/4" to 1"] Note: Red wheat bran (sold separately) is an ideal food/substrate for superworms (add thick sliced carrots or potato as needed for moisture), store at room temperature (around 70-75 degrees) in an open plastic tote with enough bran to just cover superworms (superworms should not be stored more than an inch or so deep). Regular cooking oatmeal also works as a substrate in lieu of wheat bran.
